Case Study: Volvera and Building for an International Audience
Volvera is an international company. We built their corporate website in 2025, live at volvera.se, on Next.js with a focus on corporate pages and responsive design.
A Corporate Site Has One Real Job
It is not to explain everything the company does. It is to make a serious visitor, often a potential partner, client or supplier, decide within about ten seconds that this is a real and competent organisation worth continuing with.
That judgement is made on speed, clarity and polish, usually before a single sentence has been read properly. Everything else follows from getting those right.
Designing for an International Audience
Building for an international company is different from building for a local one. The site is seen by people in different countries, on different devices, at different connection speeds, with different expectations of what a professional company site looks like.
That rules out a few things. Heavy pages that only work on fast office internet. Layouts that assume a large desktop screen. Design that follows a local convention an international visitor will find unfamiliar.
We built to the standard the widest audience expects, and made sure it holds up everywhere.
Responsive Means Tested, Not Claimed
Every agency says their sites are responsive. What that should mean is that the layout has been checked at real breakpoints on real devices, with real content in it, including the long company name that breaks the header and the paragraph that overflows on a narrow screen.
Volvera's site was built and tested that way, from small phones up to wide desktop displays.
Why This Matters for Afghan Businesses Too
Volvera is a useful example for any Afghan company with ambitions beyond the local market. The technical standard that satisfies an international audience is not out of reach and not dramatically more expensive. It mostly comes down to building properly the first time rather than patching a template.
If your customers, partners or investors are outside the country, your website is very often the first thing they see of you. It is worth the same care you would give a physical office.
Working With Sheen
We build corporate sites for companies inside and outside Afghanistan, in English, Dari and Pashto. If you need a site that will be judged by an international audience, get in touch.
